Organized in 1960, the Gilbert Historical Museum moved to the old elementary which was deemed a historical building in 1980. The museum is only open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $3 for adults, $1.50 for children ages 5 to 12, and kids under age five are free.

If you're interested in rollerblading then check out the long, thin sidewalks at Vista del Camino Park in Scottsdale. You'll be able to whiz along at top speed while others enjoy the park's other amenities, such as softball and skating. Everyone in the family will find something to do here.
